In exploiting the gift of life, dreamers make something their companion – creativity. Creativity is an inborn power we are endowed with; to look around ourselves and carve something out of nothing. Creativity is the power we have to use what is ours to birth what will be of value to us, what brings us comfort and elevates our status. If you can design what you want, you deserve to be acknowledged for living a worthy life.
Les Brown said, “Life is not going to give you what you want, it will give you what you are.” The reason why your life will be filled with bounties of happiness and fulfilment is the number of success you can create for yourself and the proportion of what you birth in respect to what makes you happy. No one will care about how you live your life if you cannot conceive an idea and brings it to fruition to save their souls.
Don’t think it is too late for you to create something; Donzella Washington broke the ground at the age of eighty-five years. Harland Sanders created one of the best ever franchises the world has ever had – the Kentucky Fried Chicken. Mariya Moseley advised, “When it comes to chasing your dreams, it’s never too late to achieve them.” It is never too late to discover what you are innately impregnated with and give birth to it.
It was the drive to create something that propels Steve Job to discover the animative flaws in the phones and gadgets around the 1970s and he invented his own world’s record-breaking invention. It was the quest to change what we are using to write that inflamed George Laszlo Biro to invented the ballpoint pen we are using to write today. We all have something we are called to create and we should be imagining the void we would leave behind if don’t rise to our call.
It may be that you have been trying to create something, but every time you tried, failure always overwhelmed you. Don’t be discouraged. You are not the first and you won’t be the last. Peter Drucker, the father of modern management posits that “The better a man is, the more mistakes he will make, for the more new things he will try.” Thomas Edison invented the light bulb after his laboratory was fully burnt. You can create something!
Stop looking around and complaining of insufficiency. You have been endowed with abundant insight to champion a life-changing cause. You have to keep this advice dearly to yourself: The gap between you and what you want in life is what you can create from what you have. When you spark your creativity, it opens the doors of unmatched rejuvenation.
